Hi, I'm Alicia Herring, an interior designer and home staging strategist, and I help Realtors and homeowners sell fast, for top-dollar.
I'm a life-long lover of home design and I've been privileged to help clients sell homes 50% faster than those that were un-staged, and at 99% of the asking price.
By utilizing the best staging products and staying familiar with ever-evolving home design and real estate marketing trends, the advice I give you is concise and effective.
"I was absolutely impressed when I received multiple offers and was under contract for more than my asking price within the first week of my home being on the market!” - David H., Homeowner
"Moving out of state was quite stressful, so we were more than pleasantly surprised it sold in a week and a half and truly believe that staging made a BIG difference." - Susan, Homeowner
Here's a recap of my experience:
I was exposed to residential construction and design at a young age, visiting job sites with my father, a general contractor in Aspen, Colorado. Naturally attracted to architecture and design, I picked up hand-drafting and started drawing floor plans for my dad's projects as well as fun conceptual models of mega mansions and Las Vegas casinos! Following my passion for the built environment, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Construction Project Management from Colorado State University. (CSU’s Interior Design program is accredited by CIDA — the Council for Interior Design Accreditation)
After college, I worked as a Junior Interior Designer where I had the opportunity to shadow some of Aspen’s best known interior designers on projects in Vail and Aspen, Colorado, Texas, and Florida. Following this, I was employed by Habitat for Humanity where I combined design and construction knowledge to acquire used furniture and building material ReStore donations from Aspen remodel projects to fund the construction of Habitat Homes in the Roaring Fork Valley.
In 2012, a Realtor-friend recruited me to help her sellers prepare their homes for market. I've helped hundreds of homeowners de-clutter, organize, and stage their home for a successful, quick sale. Today, Stage My Listings brings these tried and true staging practices directly to you via this website, the blog, and video call conferencing.
